The interactive media application developed for Bike! Walk! Northwest Georgia is an early fusion of existing technologies overlaid with custom route data. The system synchronizes relevant photos, trail descriptions, directions, elevations graphs and video content with all bike routes in the area. The end user can visually explore the custom flash map, select routes to view their associated content and play "fly-through" animations of the routes. Included in the map view settings is the ability to access Google Street View, orbit the map center and change the base map type. Find hotels, restaurants, rentals, and more by using the synchronized Yahoo map search bar. Download static maps, KML files for exploration with Google Earth and GPX files for GPS unit navigation.
